Just before the Teams of the Season (TOTS) promotion dropped in FIFA Mobile, developer and publisher Electronic Arts has banned over 10.000 FIFA Mobile players.
These players have been suspended for three weeks, meaning they will miss out on the TOTS promotion, and thereby, some of the strongest cards available. The banned FIFA Mobile players are, according to EA, in violation of the rules.
We’ve temporarily suspended over 10,000 players that have cheated in PvE/AI matches. These suspensions will last 3 weeks.

Some players are not happy with this move. Many are claiming they are innocent, while others say it is a bug that got them banned, calling for EA to provide them with the exact reason.
In the rules, EA explains: “Games are at their best when everyone can play on a level playing field. Cheating, phishing, hacking, or anything else that gives you a competitive advantage ruins the experience for everyone and impacts the game balance.”
The TOTS promotion is set to include powered-up squads from the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and more, and are often the strongest cards in a FIFA game’s lifecycle.
More cards are rolling out in FIFA 21 and FIFA Mobile in the next two weeks. Keep your eyes peeled on @UltimateTeamUK for all the updates as they happen.
