The latest update introduces several major changes, including the removal of the intrusive Trainer feature, a significant Pro Clubs overhaul, and adjustments to formations and positions.

The game now includes legendary icons like Andrea Pirlo and Thierry Henry, available for the first time outside Ultimate Team.

Additionally, a new playable youth team feature in Career Mode offers detailed management and realistic development paths, hailed as the biggest Career Mode update in years.

EA Sports FC 25 removes frustrating feature

EA Sports FC 25 has finally addressed player feedback by removing the Trainer feature, which many found intrusive and annoying.

The Trainer overlay, meant to help new players, often disrupted gameplay for experienced users.

According to Fandomwire, the decision has been well-received by the community, who have long criticized the feature for detracting from the overall enjoyment of the game.

Pro Clubs overhaul brings exciting changes

The latest update for EA Sports FC 25 introduces a significant overhaul to Pro Clubs, enhancing gameplay and user experience.

Key improvements include advanced matchmaking, new customization options, and refined progression systems.

According to Nick Wlodyka, EA Sports FC’s general manager, “We’ve listened to our players and made these changes to deliver a more immersive and personalized Pro Clubs experience.”

Formation and positions overhaul

EA Sports FC 25 introduces significant changes by removing the 4-3-2-1 formation and three key positions: left forward (LF), right forward (RF), and center forward (CF).

By eliminating these specific positions, EA aims to create a more fluid and dynamic on-field experience, encouraging players to adapt and innovate.

This overhaul addresses gameplay realism and depth, ensuring that players engage with the game’s strategic elements more thoughtfully and creatively.

Icons available outside Ultimate Team

EA Sports FC 25 brings legendary players into Player Career Mode, allowing gamers to play as icons such as Andrea Pirlo, Thierry Henry, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Kelly Smith.

According to Sport Bible, traditionally available only in Ultimate Team, these icons can now be integrated into current teams, offering a nostalgic yet fresh experience.

Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition gain access to even more legends like Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane, and David Beckham.

EA describes this feature as an opportunity to “rewrite the stories of past ICONS with today’s teams,” adding depth and variety to Career Mode gameplay.

Playable youth team feature in Career Mode

One of the most exciting additions to EA Sports FC 25 is the introduction of a playable youth team feature in Career Mode.

Players can now scout, train, and promote youth players to the senior team. This feature includes detailed youth academy management and realistic player development paths.

Additionally, as reported by VG247, this update is being hailed as the biggest Career Mode update in years.
