The Premier League is of course a league packed full of talent with some top sides that have slowly begun to dominate the European football stage.
And, with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Manchester United over the summer, that star power has been added to even more.
Rio Ferdinand has said on his Youtube channel that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is the best player in the Premier League right now.
Current status: watching this on repeat 🔁🤩

The pundit has added that he would take Salah at his best for Liverpool over Luis Suarez at his best for the Reds.
Ferdinand said, “This Salah is scoring goals and putting in performances to shoot his team to winning Champions League and league titles.
“As good as Suarez was, he was not doing that. He is the best player in the Premier League right now bar none.
“It’s burning me, it’s burning my chest, talking like this about Liverpool players.”
“He’s the best player in the Premier League right now. It’s bunning my chest talking like this about a Liverpool player.
“His goal was like being on FIFA, that chop, I’ve done that many times on FIFA, where you pretend to whip it top corner and then you chop it back. Playground skills. Salah is scoring goals that is helping Liverpool win Premier League and Champions League titles.”
It’s not hard to to see why Ferdinand picked Salah as the Premier League’s best player currently. The Egyptian striker has netted six and assisted three in seven league ties so far this term.
And, since he signed for Liverpool, no player has come close to matching Salah’s goal tally in the division:

The Liverpool no. 11 has scored six goals and provided three assists in seven Premier League matches so far this season.
But despite his solid start to the season, the Egyptian makes Liverpool fans nervous as he is yet to commit his long-term future at the club. As Jamie Carragher recently urged the club to get it over the line; it certainly outlines his importance in the club.
