The advertisement, already available on SportyBet’s YouTube channel, is a nod to community connection. It’s also a play to accentuate the brand’s tagline: “Play With Champions.” The ad underlines the SportyBet mobile app’s prowess. It’s pitched as a premier solution for live sports streaming.
Further, the advertisement will grace screens beyond just YouTube. SportyTV, a free online sports TV network in Ghana and Nigeria, will broadcast it. Plus, it will reach audiences across the entire African continent.
Elías Gallego, the VP at SportyBet, shared his excitement about the commercial. He sees it as an embodiment of SportyBet’s pledge to African fans.
The alliance with Real Madrid, he believes, elevates the sports betting experience in Africa. It merges the thrill of top-tier football with betting in an unprecedented way.
This isn’t SportyBet’s first association with big football names, however. Their partnership with Real Madrid has been ongoing for three seasons.
Adding to their portfolio, they’ve recently joined forces with Premier League champions, Manchester City. Moreover, the renowned Michael Essien has been roped in as SportyBet’s African Ambassador.
