Crypto.com has secured a historic three-year sponsorship deal with UEFA, becoming the first cryptocurrency platform to partner with the Champions League.

The agreement spans the 2024–27 commercial cycle and includes sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup, Youth League, and Futsal Champions League.

This partnership makes its official debut during the 2024 UEFA Super Cup, where Real Madrid faces Atalanta in Warsaw.

According to UEFA Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein, the collaboration represents “an exciting new chapter for the UEFA Champions League.”

The deal provides Crypto.com with extensive brand exposure through in-game perimeter LED boards, media backdrops, and broadcast sponsorship.

Crypto.com’s Chief Marketing Officer, Steven Kalifowitz, expressed that this partnership is a “significant step in our journey of engaging consumers through the most iconic global sporting events.”

The 2024–27 deal is a milestone in UEFA’s history, highlighting its openness to innovative technology and digital currency.

The UEFA Champions League’s new format, featuring a 36-team league phase, begins on September 17, with the draw taking place in Monaco on August 29.
